Located in the autonomous Iraqi state of Kurdistan, Vogue
Architects have
won a competition to design a new building for the Kurdistan Engineers
Union in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq. The mixed-use concrete and glass tower will serve
as the new hub for the Engineers Union and will become home to several
engineering firms, administrative offices, a fitness center, and a public space.
Designed to pay homage to the land, the tower was created on principles of
holiness, honesty, and respect for nature.
Vogue Architects participated in INDEX
Dubai, a world-renowned, large-scale trade (B2B) exhibition that has been
connecting interior designers, buyers, retailers, distributors, consultants and
contractors to interiors brands, products, and services from across the globe
for over 30 years.
With the participation of a number of consulting engineering offices in the city of Sulaymaniyah in the competition for the best design Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the project designed for a consultant office was designated as the best design, as the building area is 1400 square meters. The design idea comes from the caravan and business location (Caravanserai). The project was suspended because the place was not suitable for the project.
Vogue Architects' participation in the Middle East Ideal House Exhibition in Erbil was the first step towards entering a new market and facing new challenges.
On March 20th, 2019, Vogue Architects Decided to Expand its reach and open up its second branch in Erbil, the capital city of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. After successfully entering the market and building a strong reputation, Vogue Architects moved its headquarter to Erbil.
